A 5.1 magnitude quake hit close to Prince Edward Islands region on Wednesday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor shook the area at 16:31 UTC (18:31 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter of Prince Edward Islands region.
