Earthquake measuring 5.0 hits area close to Masamba, Indonesia on July 14

POSO REGENCY, Central Sulawesi — According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.0 magnitude quake shook near Masamba Monday evening.

A tremor rattled the region at 12:52 UTC (20:52 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was positioned about 69 km northeast of Masamba and occurred at a depth of 10 km.
