A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred close to Merizo Village on Tuesday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which struck the region at 11:09 UTC (21:09 local time), was centered roughly 58 km south-southwest of Merizo Village. It occurred at a depth of 12 km.
