AYABACA PROVINCE, Piura — A 5.1 magnitude quake jolted near Suyo on Saturday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which shook the area at 06:35 UTC (01:35 local time), was centered approximately 8 km west-southwest of Suyo. It occurred at a depth of 81 km.
