Update: Earthquake of 5.0 magnitude detected close to Burias, Philippines on June 8

A 5.0 magnitude quake jolted close to Burias on Monday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

A tremor rattled the area at 07:00 UTC (15:00 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was approximately 29 km southwest of Burias and occurred at a depth of 56 km.
