Sheffield Wednesday and Portsmouth collided in a Championship fixture that lived up to the hype, producing a 1-1 draw.
The Wednesday started the match well and took the lead when Callum Paterson netted after 9 minutes, with an assist by Stuart Armstrong, making it 1-0.
Portsmouth equalised to make it 1-1, when Harvey Blair found the net, with an assist by Josh Murphy, in the 23rd minute. The teams were unable to score in the second half and the game ended 1-1.
With one game remaining, Sheffield Wednesday are in 13th place in the table while Portsmouth are in 16th.
The previous match between the teams ended in a 2-1 away win for Sheffield Wednesday in October.
