A football drama unfolded at Portsmouth as they entertained Derby County in the Championship, the clash concluding in a 2-2 draw.

The first half finished 0-0 and it took until the 70th minute before Jerry Yates netted to give the the Rams the lead.

Rob Atkinson equalised for Portsmouth in the 71st minute.

After 75 minutes Derby County scored to make it 1-2.

The equaliser came in stoppage time, when Rob Atkinson found the net for Portsmouth.

With four games remaining, Portsmouth are in 19th place in the table while Derby County are in 21st.

The previous match between the teams ended in a 4-0 home win for Derby County in December.

Portsmouth play Norwich City on 17 April, Watford on 20 April and Sheffield Wednesday (away) on 25 April. Derby County’s next opponents are Luton on 17 April, WBA on 20 April and Hull (away) on 25 April.
