Denver Pioneers win over Providence

The Denver Pioneers have advanced to the next round of playoffs after a decisive 5-1 victory at Schneider Arena over Providence in the knock-out game on Friday, March 27, 2025.

The Pioneers opened strong, early in the game with Connor Caponi scoring in the first period.

The Pioneers increased the lead to 2-0 early in the second period when Zeev Buium scored, assisted by Aidan Thompson and Carter King.

Sam Harris then tallied a goal six minutes into the period, making the score 3-0. Carter King and Zeev Buium assisted.

The Pioneers increased the lead to 4-0 early in the third period when Aidan Thompson netted one, assisted by Zeev Buium and Samu Salminen.

Austen May narrowed the gap to 4-1 with a goal eight minutes later, assisted by Logan Will.

Carter King made it 5-1 with a goal four minutes later.
