The National Weather Service released a dense fog advisory at 8:19 p.m. on Friday valid from 9 p.m. until Saturday 10 a.m. for Northern El Paso County/Monument Ridge/Rampart Range below 7,500 ft and Colorado Springs Vicinity/Southern El Paso County/Rampart Range below 7,400 ft.

“Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog,” can be expected according to the NWS. “Lowest visibility will affect the region between midnight and 9 a.m. Saturday.”

“Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous,” explains the NWS. “If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.”
