Cornell Big Red has won against Michigan State 4-3 in the playoff knock-out game at Munn Ice Arena on Thursday, March 26, 2025, and will advance.

Cornell’s Sullivan Mack scored the game-winning goal.

The Spartans took the lead early in the first period, with a goal from Gavin O’connell. Joey Larson and Karsen Dorwart assisted.

The Big Red tied the game 1-1 with a goal from Ryan Walsh late in the first, assisted by Ben Robertson and Sullivan Mack.

The Spartans took the lead with a minute left in the first when Daniel Russell scored, assisted by Charlie Stramel and Isaac Howard.

The Spartans scored one goals in second period an held the lead 3-2 going in to the second break.

Ryan Walsh tied it up 3-3 with a goal in the middle of the third period, assisted by Ben Robertson.

The Big Red took the lead with 10 seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Sullivan Mack, assisted by Charlie Major and George Fegaras.
