At 2:50 a.m. on Thursday, the National Weather Service released an updated fire weather watch valid for Friday between noon and 10 p.m. for Colorado.
Winds are forecasted to be southwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph and relative humidity 9 to 14 percent.
“Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended,” comments the NWS.
