Chippewa Steel beat Anchorage Wolverines

The Chippewa Steel won their game at Sullivan Arena against the Anchorage Wolverines on Saturday, April 11, 2025, ending 6-3.

The Steel opened strong, at the beginning of the game with Jackson Lackas scoring 13 seconds, goal assisted by Connor Jalbert and Jacob Ligi.

The Wolverines tied the score 1-1 in the first period when Daniel Bagnole scored the first goal, assisted by Toby Carlson and Samuel Evert.

The Steel took the lead with another goal from Jackson Lackas in the first period, assisted by Connor Jalbert and Jacob Ligi.

The Steel’s Camden Davis increased the lead to 3-1 halfway through the first period, assisted by Tomas Trunda and Lukas Bellinger.

Three goals were scored in the second period, and the Steel led 6-1 going in to the third period.

Andrew Karkoc narrowed the gap to 6-2 with a goal early in the third period, assisted by Jason Bourdukofsky and Drew Nelson.

The Wolverines narrowed the gap again late in the third when Cole Christian netted one, assisted by Drew Nelson and Jack Darby.
