The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders won when they faced Team USA at ImOn Ice Arena on Saturday, March 28, 2025.

The RoughRiders started off strong and took the lead right after the puck drop with Robert Chlan scoring in the first minute, assisted by Jason Musa and Hans-Martin Ulvebne.
The RoughRiders made it 2-0 in the first period when Noel Ohgren struck, assisted by Joseph Mense and Guerin Slezak.
The Team USA narrowed the gap to 2-1 with a goal from Logan Lutner in the first period, assisted by Lukas Zajic and Victor Plante.
The RoughRiders’ John Mcnelis increased the lead to 3-1 late in the first period.
Three goals were scored in the second period, and the RoughRiders led 5-2 going in to the third period.
The Team USA narrowed the gap again late in the third period when Lukas Zajic beat the goalie.
The Team USA narrowed the gap again with a goal from Jamie Glance, assisted by Wyatt Cullen at 17:00 into the third period.
The RoughRiders increased the lead to 6-4 with 22 seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Daniel Astapovich.
