Eliezer Mayenda scored in the 31st minute to give Sunderland the lead in a previously goalless match.

In the 55th minute, Rob Dickie equalised for Bristol C.

Ross McCrorie scored the decider in the 76th minute to complete Bristol C’s come back.

The win over Sunderland means that Bristol C have four at home wins in a row.

With three games remaining, Bristol C are in fifth place in the table and Sunderland are in fourth.

The previous meeting between the teams ended in a 1-1 draw, with Sunderland at home in December.
