Update: The current severe thunderstorm warning for Logan and Weld counties will be expiring at 5:45 p.m.

The warning had been issued for Logan and Weld counties.

“The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, small hail, gusty winds, and heavy rain are still possible with these thunderstorms. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 9 p.m. Wednesday for a portion of northeast Colorado,” says the National Weather Service.
