Blackburn hosted Middlesbrough in a match that finished 2-0. The result meant Blackburn’s seventh game in a row without a win in the Championship.

The Boro chocked Blackburn when Tommy Conway netted in the second minute.

The Boro increased the lead to 2-0 early in the match when Samuel Iling-Junior made his mark as he found the net in the 8th minute. The second half was goalless and the match ended with a 2-0 win for Middlesboro.

Middlesbrough are now in fifth place, while Blackburn are in 11th place.

The previous match between the teams ended in a 1-0 away win for Blackburn in January.
