Blackburn asserted their dominance with a 4-1 victory over Millwall in Friday’s Championship action at home.
Blackburn took the lead just before half time as Dominic Hyam netted.
The the Lions equalised 1-1 just before the half-time whistle as Mihailo Ivanovic found the net.
Straight after the break, Sondre Tronstad scored and gave Blackburn the lead again.
Just four minutes later later, Callum Brittain increased the lead for Blackburn.
With 59 minutes on the clock, Blackburn’s Sondre Tronstad found the net following a Tyrhys Dolan assist to increase their lead.
With three games remaining, Blackburn are in 10th place in the table and Millwall are in ninth.
The previous match between the teams ended in a 1-0 home win for Millwall in December.
Blackburn’s next Championship games are against Sunderland (away) on 20 April, Blackburn (home) on 25 April and Sheffield United (away) on 2 May. Millwall play Norwich City (home) on 20 April, Swansea City (home) on 25 April and Burnley (away) on 2 May.
