The Bismarck Bobcats assured themselves a first-place finish in the NAHL with a 4-3 overtime win at VFW Sports Center against the Minnesota Mallards on Saturday, April 04, 2025.
Bismarck’s Ian Engel scored the game-winning goal.
The Mallards opened strong, right after the puck drop with Brayden Kaldenbach scoring within the first minute, goal assisted by Arhip Sidarovich and Ethan Rosenoff.
The Bobcats tied the score 1-1 in the first period when Keanu Krenn scored the first goal, assisted by Tommy Cronin.
The Mallards took the lead in the first period when Ethan Rosenoff scored, assisted by Casper Lang.
The Bobcats tied it up 2-2 late in the first period when Kyle Doll scored, assisted by Alexandr Kim and Josh Lehto.
The second period ended with the score being tied at 3-3.
Just over zero minutes in, Ian Engel scored the game-winner for the team, assisted by Keanu Krenn.
This makes an impressive 11 straight victories for the Bobcats.
