Baptiste got the decider when Luton sink Coventry

The second-half goal from Baptiste was the only goal of the game. Luton won 1-0 at home to Coventry in the Championship.

Coventry were left with a man down early on, when Jay DaSilva was sent off in the 13th minute.

Luton’s Liam Walsh was sent off in the 68th minute.

A goal was scored right at the death in the 90th minute when Shandon Baptiste netted to make it 1–0 for Luton.

With one game remaining, Luton are in 21st place in the table while Coventry are in sixth.

The previous outing between the teams ended in a 3-2 home win for Coventry in October.

Luton play WBA on 2 May. Coventry’s next opponent is Middlesbrough on 2 May.
