Leeds seal promotion after win

The home game against Stoke City in the Championship finished 6-0. With the result Stoke has secured promotion.

The Whites started the match best and took the lead early when Joel Piroe netted after 6 minutes, with an assist by Manor Solomon, making it 1-0.

Just two minutes later later Joel Piroe increased the lead for Leeds.

Joel Piroe made it 3-0 in the 20th minute as he found the net, and then completed a hatrick.

In the 26th minute Junior Firpo increased the lead for Leeds.

Joel Piroe made it goal, 5-0 in the 41st minute scored again as he scored.

The Peacocks scored once more, this time through Gnonto Wilfried in the 59th minute.

This makes an impressive four straight victories for Leeds’.

It was Leeds’ eighth game in a row without defeat.

With two games remaining, Leeds are at the top of the table while Stoke City are in 17th.

The previous meeting between the teams ended in a 2-0 away win for Leeds in December.

Leeds play Bristol C on 27 April and Plymouth on 2 May. Stoke City’s next opponents are Sheffield United on 24 April and Derby County on 2 May.
