Minnesota Wilderness win 5-2 against Springfield Jr. Blues

The Minnesota Wilderness won at Northwoods Credit Union Arena on Friday, April 10, 2025, handing the Springfield Jr. Blues a defeat 5-2.

The Jr. Bues took the lead early in the first period, with a goal from Tyler Smith. Junsu Kwak and Luke Sawicky assisted.

The Wilderness tied it up 1-1 halfway through the first when Noah Dziver scored, assisted by Zach Homer and Jakeb Lynch.

The Wilderness’ Brady Zugec took the lead in the middle of the first, assisted by Luke Margenau and Logan Nagle.

Two goals were scored in the second period, and the Wilderness led 3-2 going in to the third period.

The Wilderness increased the lead to 4-2, only 39 seconds into the third when Noah Dziver found the back of the net again, assisted by Jakeb Lynch and River Freeman.

Noah Dziver increased the lead to 5-2 with a goal late in the third period.
