The Championship clash between Bristol C and WBA started with a goalless first half on Tuesday. However, WBA asserted dominance in the second half, securing a convincing 2-1 victory.
The first half finished 0-0 and it took until the 56th minute before Nahki Wells netted to give Bristol C the lead.
In the 62nd minute, Alex Mowatt equalised for WBA.
WBA’s Jayson Molumby was sent off in the 89th minute.
The deciding goal came in stoppage time, when Haydon Roberts found the net for Bristol C.
The result means the fifth game in a row without a win for WBA.
The result leaves Bristol C in fifth place, while WBA are in eighth place.
The previous meeting between the teams ended in a 2-0 home win for WBA in December.
Bristol C play Queens Park Rangers on 11 April, Sunderland on 17 April and Luton (away) on 20 April. WBA’s next opponents are Watford on 11 April, Coventry on 17 April and Derby County (home) on 20 April.
