The game between the Northeast Generals and the Elmira Aviators finished 9-3 on Friday, April 03, 2025 – no doubt a relief for Northeast after nine straight defeats.
The Generals scored three goals in first period an held the lead 3-2 going in to the first break.
The second period ended with a 4-2 lead for the Generals.
Spencer Hirsch increased the lead to 5-2 with a goal halfway through the third period, assisted by Cole Mckenna and Mikey Bartkowski.
Kai Dunits also made it 6-2 with a goal less than a minute later, assisted by Spencer Hirsch and Benjamin Campeau.
Rich Rucireto then increased the lead to 7-2 with a goal one minute later, assisted by William-Francisco Parent and Jackson Rutherford.
Emerson Miller then made it 8-2 late in the third, assisted by Alejandro Blum and Jackson Rutherford.
The Generals increased the lead to 9-2 with 01.56 remaining of the third after a goal from Rich Rucireto, assisted by Finnegan Connor and Jack Laferriere.
The Aviators narrowed the gap to 9-3 with 39 seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Ben Norris, assisted by Bryce Terry.
