Derby County continue to go from strength to strength in the Championship. When the team played Preston North End at Pride Park Stadium on Wednesday, they claimed yet another victory. Derby won the game 2-0 and now have four successive wins.

The first half was goalless, but straight after half-time, Craig Forsyth made his mark as he netted to give the the Rams the lead.

Straight after the break, Jerry Yates found the net and increased the team’s lead.

Derby County are now in 20th place, while Preston North End are in 14th place.

The previous outing between the teams ended in a 1-1 draw, with Preston North End at home in November.

Derby County’s next Championship games are against Swansea City (away) on 4 April, Derby County (home) on 7 April and Portsmouth (away) on 11 April. Preston North End play Stoke City (home) on 4 April, Cardiff (home) on 7 April and Leeds (away) on 11 April.
