The New Mexico Ice Wolves won at Outpost Ice Arenas on Saturday, March 28, 2025, handing the Colorado Grit a defeat 5-1.

The Grit started off strong and took the lead at the beginning of the game with George Poirier scoring in the first period, assisted by Sheldon Rioux and Lucas Mann.

The Ice Wolves tied it up 1-1 late in the first period when Toivo Laaksonen scored, assisted by Sean Smith.

Three goals were scored in the second period, and the Ice Wolves led 4-1 going in to the third period.

Nayan Pai increased the lead to 5-1 with a goal halfway through the third period, assisted by Andrew Earl and Sloan Farmer.
