A goal was scored right at the death with -1 minutes left to play, when Josh Sargent netted, with an assist by Marcelino Nunez, to make it 1–0 for the Canaries.

Norwich City are now in 10th place, while WBA are in sixth place.

The previous match between the teams ended in a 2-2 draw, with WBA at home in November.
