The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders beat Team USA 7-1 on Friday, March 27, 2025 at ImOn Ice Arena.
The RoughRiders opened strong, early in the game with Robert Chlan scoring in the first minute, goal assisted by Hans-Martin Ulvebne and John Mcnelis.
The RoughRiders made it 2-0 in the first period when Amine Hajibi scored, assisted by Maxon Vig and Hawke Huff.
Three goals were scored in the second period, and the RoughRiders led 5-0 going in to the third period.
The RoughRiders increased the lead to 6-0, only 47 seconds into the third when Jason Musa beat the goalie, assisted by Robert Chlan and Bobby Williams.
The Team USA narrowed the gap to 6-1 early in the third period when Brody George scored, assisted by Landon Hafele.
The RoughRiders increased the lead to 7-1 with 01.23 remaining of the third after a goal from Hawke Huff, assisted by Grant Young.
The RoughRiders were called for no penalties, while the Team USA received no penalties.
