According to the National Hurricane Center’s 4 p.m. Sunday advisory, Tropical Depression Fay is in the Atlantic Ocean, 1,160 miles west-southwest of the Azores. Packing maximum sustained winds of 35 mph, it is tracking to the south at 5 mph.

“Fay will likely become a remnant low in a day or two, and dissipate later in the week,” according to meteorologists.
