A 5.1 magnitude quake struck near Merizo Village on Thursday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The USGS reported a tremor in the area at 13:28 UTC (23:28 local time). The epicenter was approximately 162 km south-southwest of Merizo Village, at a depth of 10 km.
