TAPACHULA, Chis. — A 5.3 magnitude quake occurred close to Puerto Madero on Sunday evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor jolted at 02:56 UTC (20:56 local time), with its epicenter roughly 108 km southwest of Puerto Madero and a depth of 10 km.
