MUY MUY, Matagalpa — A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred near off the coast of Central America on Saturday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A tremor hit the area at 05:00 UTC (23:00 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was of off the coast of Central America and occurred at a depth of 10 km.
