Update: Southwest Georgia flood advisory set to expire at 5:45 p.m.

The advisory was in place for Lee, Randolph and Terrell counties.

“The Flood Advisory will expire at 5:45 p.m. this afternoon for a portion of southwest Georgia, including the following areas, Lee, Randolph and Terrell. The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures,” comments the National Weather Service.
