A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred near Lukatan on Saturday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

At 06:43 UTC (14:43 local time), a tremor struck the region at a depth of 108 km, with its epicenter roughly 45 km southeast of Lukatan.
