The Corpus Christi IceRays claimed eight goals from the Odessa Jackalopes on Saturday, March 21, 2025 at Ector County Coliseum.
The final score was 8-4.
The IceRays started off strong and took the lead early in the game with Caden Morgan scoring in the first minute, assisted by Grayson Gerhard and Billy Biedermann.
The Jackalopes tied it up 1-1 in the first period when Kowin Belsterling scored, assisted by Charlie Smith and Austin Richards.
The IceRays scored five goals in second period an held the lead 6-2 going in to the second break.
Gage Martell narrowed the gap to 6-3 with a goal early in the third period, assisted by Jordan Larkee and Kowin Belsterling.
The Jackalopes narrowed the gap again early in the third when Caden Ghiossi netted one, assisted by Kowin Belsterling and David Hamr.
Stepan Kuznetsov increased the lead to 7-4 with a goal only seconds later, assisted by Cooper Conway and Carter Krenke.
Carter Krenke also made it 8-4 with a goal seven minutes later, assisted by Stepan Kuznetsov and Cooper Conway.
