The Denver Pioneers have advanced to the next round of playoffs after a 4-2 victory over Arizona State in the knock-out game on Friday, March 20, 2025.

The Pioneers started off strong and took the lead early in the game with Boston Buckberger scoring in the first minute, assisted by Jared Wright and Kieran Cebrian.

The Pioneers’ Sam Harris made it 2-0 late in the first period, assisted by Aidan Thompson and Carter King.

Ryan Kirwan scored early in the second period, assisted by Lukas Sillinger and Noah Beck.

With a minute left, Artem Shlaine scored a goal, making the score 2-2.

Aidan Thompson took the lead with a goal halfway through the third period, assisted by Carter King and Jack Devine.

The Pioneers increased the lead to 4-2 with 01.03 remaining of the third after a goal from Connor Caponi, assisted by Jack Devine.
