On Monday at 5:35 p.m. the National Weather Service released an updated heat advisory in effect until 9 p.m. for Northern El Paso County/Monument Ridge/Rampart Range below 7,500 ft and Colorado Springs Vicinity/Southern El Paso County/Rampart Range below 7,400 ft.
The NWS informs, “High temperatures of 94 to 100 degrees expected.”
“Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses,” explains the NWS.

• Seek shelter: Opt for an air-conditioned room to stay comfortable.
