Update: Flash flood warning previously issued for Custer and Pueblo counties will expire at 9:30 p.m.

The warning had been issued for Custer and Pueblo counties.

“The heavy rain has ended, though some additional light rainfall will be possible on the west side of the Aspen Acres burn scar. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures. A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until midnight for a portion of southeast Colorado,” explains the National Weather Service.
