Update: 5.0 magnitude earthquake recorded close to Sarangani, Philippines on June 11

A 5.0 magnitude quake jolted near Sarangani on Thursday evening, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor rattled at 11:46 UTC (19:46 local time), with its epicenter roughly 69 km south-southeast of Sarangani and a depth of 52 km. The magnitude was originally reported as 5.1 but later downgraded to 5.0.
