A 5.0 magnitude quake rattled close to Sarangani around midday Monday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The tremor hit the area at 04:42 UTC (12:42 local time). It occurred at a depth of 35 km with the epicenter about 44 km west-southwest of Sarangani.
