The National Weather Service issued an updated fire weather watch at 7:48 p.m. on Saturday valid for Monday between noon and 8 p.m. for Little Snake and White River.

Winds are forecasted to be southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph and relative humidity 11 to 16%.

“Fires will catch and spread quickly. Exercise extreme caution with any outdoor burning,” says the NWS.

A fire weather watch means that critical fire weather conditions are possible. Listen for later forecasts and possible red flag warnings.
