AYSÉN PROVINCE, Aysén — A 5.3 magnitude quake jolted close to Off the coast of Aisen on Sunday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor, which struck the area at 08:28 UTC (03:28 local time), was centered of Off the coast of Aisen. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.

Another quake with a magnitude 4.4 was registered in the region. It too was detected near Off the coast of Aisen prior to this quake.
