MAISI, Guantanamo — A 5.0 magnitude quake rattled close to Maisí on Friday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor, which jolted the area at 09:56 UTC (04:56 local time), was centered roughly 61 km south-southwest of Maisí. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
