At 2:26 p.m. on Wednesday, the National Weather Service issued an updated winter storm warning in effect until Thursday at midnight for South and East Jackson/Larimer/North and Northeast Grand/Northwest Boulder counties above 9,000 feet.
The NWS says to expect, “Additional snow accumulations 1 to 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 60 mph.”
“Snow and ice covered roads will make travel hazardous. Snow and blowing snow may reduce visibility to a quarter mile or less at times,” states the NWS. “If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.”
