Update: Seismic activity on Feb. 19 – 5.0 magnitude earthquake close to Aksu, China detected

A 5.0 magnitude quake rattled close to Aksu on Thursday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor struck at 09:09 UTC (15:09 local time), with its epicenter roughly 114 km north-northeast of Aksu and a depth of 10 km.
