The U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 5.2 magnitude quake jolted near Merizo Village Tuesday afternoon.

The tremor, which struck the region at 07:01 UTC (17:01 local time), was centered roughly 181 km south-southwest of Merizo Village. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
