Update: Dec. 4 – 5.1 magnitude earthquake recorded close to Pacific-Antarctic Ridge

A 5.1 magnitude quake was detected close to Pacific-Antarctic Ridge Thursday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor jolted the area at 03:14 UTC (18:14 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter located of Pacific-Antarctic Ridge.
