A 5.3 magnitude quake was reported near Vilyuchinsk Sunday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was reported that a tremor hit the region at 11:13 UTC (22:13 local time). The epicenter was located roughly 180 km south-southeast of Vilyuchinsk, at a depth of 10 km. Seismologists first reported it as a 5.4 event, but later downgraded it to 5.3.
