Update: Seismic activity on Nov. 8 – 5.1 magnitude earthquake close to Yamada, Japan recorded

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.1 magnitude quake occurred near Yamada Saturday morning.

The tremor, which hit the area at 22:26 UTC (08:26 local time), was centered roughly 132 km east of Yamada. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
