A 5.2 magnitude quake was detected near Lospalos around midday Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor, which struck the area at 03:09 UTC (12:09 local time), was centered approximately 126 km northeast of Lospalos. It occurred at a depth of 149 km.
