System name: Karen

According to the National Hurricane Center’s 10 a.m. Friday advisory, Subtropical Storm Karen is in the Atlantic Ocean, 610 miles north-northwest of the Azores. The system, with maximum sustained winds of 45 mph, is moving northeast at 13 mph.

“Little change in strength is forecast through tonight, and the system is expected to become a post-tropical low tonight or early Saturday and open into a trough soon thereafter”, according to forecasters.
